US: Huge Fire Destroys Historic Church In Manhattan

A massive fire erupted Saturday morning, December 5 in a vacant building in the East Village neighborhood of Manhattan, New York City. The fire eventually spread to and destroyed the Middle Collegiate Church next to the building.

Videos posted on social media showed the 19th-century church engulfed in flames.

Four firefighters suffered minor injuries, according to reports.
