TikTok goes wild for oddly satisfying bouncy balloon and cup trick
This bizarre trick that shows how elasticated and bouncy a balloon can be has racked up over 1 million likes on TikTok.
Footage shows how placing a balloon over the top of a cup can creates a bouncy surface.
The filmer explains this then demonstrates the process by dropping a ball bearing on the balloon.
The ball bearing manages to bounce undisturbed for around 30 seconds, while slowly generating a satisfying sound.
The footage was captured on November 29 and since then, the video has garnered 5.1 million views and 1.2 million likes.
The filmer is heard saying in the video: "I found this pretty cool, so if you stretch a balloon over, like, a cup it actually makes a really, really bouncy surface."
