An alligator walks in parking lot of medical facility in Indian Harbour Beach, FL
The local authorities were not called for this incident.  In this part of Florida alligators are a relatively common occurrence.  It is more rare for them to wander into a parking lot like in the video but not unheard of.  The weather has been colder lately and these alligators will sometimes come onto the blacktop pavement to warm up. The local population is encouraged not to disturb them and to allow them to find their way back to the waterways.  The filming took place over a 10 minute timeframe and then the alligator was left alone still in the area.  Typically they move on after about an hour of sunning themselves.
