Rescue teams in Indonesia recovered human remains on Sunday (January 10) from the wreckage of a Boeing 737 that crashed into the ocean shortly after take-off from Jakarta the day before.

Video shows workers from Indonesia's National Search and Rescue Agency carrying a body bag with human remains from from Sriwijaya Air flight SJ182 at a site in Jakarta, Indonesia's capital. Other plane debris is also examined.

After tracing signals from the aircraft flight recorder, Indonesian authorities found the location of the missing Boeing 737 which had 62 people on board.

The aircraft disappeared from radar four minutes into its journey from Jakarta to Pontianak in West Kalimantan province.

Black boxes from the aircraft have now also been located, officials say

Indonesian authorities say they have found the location where they believe the plane crashed into the sea and have been focusing their recovery efforts there.

At the same time, An official of the National Transportation Safety Committee (KNKT) also inspects a piece of wreckage recovered from the crash site of Sriwijaya Air flight SJ182 at the port.

Indonesian authorities say they have located the "black Box" which could shed light on the cause of the crash, and hope to recover it on Monday.
