Footage of the dispersal of housing activists and local residents from the Aylesbury estate in South London, UK by police on Tuesday night.

Officers were called in to assist with the eviction of protesters occupying the estate over controversial council plans which would lead to its demolition and a reported £1.5bn regeneration project with a development partner.

Police officers in protective equipment can be seen reading a dispersal order to gathered crowds, threatening to arrest any who stayed on the estate, while screaming and scuffles are heard in the background.

The groups can be heard chanting 'shame on you' and singing 'all coppers are bastards' to retreating officers shortly afterwards.

Six people were reportedly arrested in clashes between officers and activists while pictures posted online showed fires burning and police using cutting equipment to pass barricades.
