The death of a 23-year-old Black man in police custody has sparked protests in Brussels, Belgium.

Footage filmed on January 13 shows dozens of taking to the streets and police firing tear gas and water cannon.

Additional footage shows protesters holding a moment of silence in memory of the young man, who was identified as Ibrahima B.

According to local reports, the 23-year-old died after being taken into police custody.
