Storm Atiyah ht the UK and Ireland over the weekend causing flight cancellations and diversions and power cuts in several parts.

The storm made landfall on Sunday, with winds hitting up to 80mph.

The Irish Electricity Supply Board (ESB) said around 7,000 customers were without power as of Monday, with 27,000 affected during the peak of the storm.

Motorists are advised to exercise caution on all roads, with fallen trees, poles and debris were reported.

The storm will make its way to the coastal areas in Wales with the Met Office issuing a yellow wind warning. The weather warning is in force until 7pm on Monday.
