Carl Rickard is a photographer and this was his first winter in New York. Having missed the snowfall he was determined to get out and shoot in the snow in Time Square. The way the snow illuminated the lights of the LED panels was crazy in person. He brought his 35mm Film Camera, 8mm Film Video Camera, and Digital Camera to the city and started shooting. The video in question was one he shot on his Iphone 12 Pro Max and slowed down and color graded to create the dramatic effect.
