Police storm restaurant during shooting in Czech Republic
Footage has emerged of police storming a restaurant in the Czech Republic where a gunman opened fire killing eight people before shooting himself dead on Tuesday.
This video was captured by a local resident who witnessed the police operation from his apartment across the road from the restaurant in the eastern town of Uhersky Brod.
According to news reports, the man burst into the Druzba restaurant and began shooting indiscriminately.
The country’s police described it as the worst mass-shooting incident on record.
Czech Interior Minister Milan Chovanec said it was not a terrorist attack.
