A school headmistress in a wheelchair led a protest march of teachers from Taungoo Basic Education Association in the Tangoo township of Bago on Tuesday, February 9.

Pro-democracy protests show no signs of abating more than a week after the military held a coup and detained Aung San Suu Kyi in Myanmar. Different groups joined marches and protests across the nation to decry the military coup and its proponent Min Aung Hlaing.
