'This man from Calgary, Canada proves how some fixes don't require high-end tools.

In this clip, Desmond Tse fixes his parents' shoe rack with only a Phillips Screwdriver, a screw, and a toothpick.

The filmer commented: "This was literally a one-minute fix. My parents don’t even own a Robertson screwdriver so I was glad I was able to find a Phillips screwdriver in their home. This is a VERY basic handyman trick but not everyone might know it."

He added: "Ideally, I would’ve liked the toothpick to go in further but my parents only had these thick toothpicks. Either way, my parents are aging and I’m sure this fix will last beyond their lifetime."

Desmond hopes that this impressive lifehack proves to be helpful for people who didn't grow up in a handy home.

Name: Desmond Tse
