Breathtaking drone footage captures a sea of wild peach blossoms blooming in southwest China.

The video, filmed in the city of Nyingchi in Tibet Autonomous Region on March 27, shows pink flowers blooming on the 333,000-square-metre field of peach blossom trees.

It is the largest wild peach blossom forest in the country.

3月27日，西藏林芝桃花节开幕。林芝境内有我国现存面积最大的野生桃林，分布在海拔2600米至3200米的河谷地带。 有“藏江南”之称的林芝，野生桃花林绵延百里，总面积超过500亩。春季漫山遍野的野桃花，将“雪域江南”的迷人春景展现的淋漓尽致，诠释了“人间净地”的独特魅力。
桃花自古就是民间喜闻乐见的花种，从服装到食品，在生活中各处加以应用。在许多人眼里，桃花和牡丹一样，缺了梅花的那份雅意，美则美矣却略嫌俗气。可在西藏，桃花的气势却完全不同于苏杭江南那些无型无款的桃花。首先这些桃树不是人工培育优化后供观赏用的小树种，它们几乎都是大树，一个人抱的树是最常见的，二三人合抱的也屡见不鲜。这些野桃树不只是大而且还多，在田间、屋后、路边、山中随处能见到三三两两挺立着。最热烈的是在山坡上，常常是满山遍野，呼拉拉总有成千上万的感觉。花色虽柔美，却从骨子里带出高原的雄浑和雪域骄傲的气势，蓝天之下，碧水之畔，非常动人。（视频由西藏台提供）
