Yellow Sand, or Asian Dust, continued for the 2nd day on Tuesday, March 30.

The dust, which is also affecting the Korean peninsula, poses dangers to travel and health from Japan's Kyushu region to up north in Hokkaido. Coinciding with hay fever season, authorities advised residents to avoid going outside if possible. Motorists were also advised to take extra precautions in driving due to reduced visibility of less than 5 km.
