Bristol "Kill the Bill" 5th protest (3 April 2021). The 5th in a series of protests against the Police, Crime, Sentencing and Courts Bill .
The 5th in a series of protests against the Police, Crime, Sentencing and Courts Bill (currently under consideration in Parliament). This protest was entirely peaceful. This short recording documents a memorial site for Sarah Everard that was erected when the protest began at College Green. (Everard was a young woman who was murdered and sexually assaulted by a British policeman in March 2021). Such scenes show how the "Kill the Bill" protest is also about the dangers of sexual assault.
