A motorist caught fire after flames burst out of a minibus in northwestern China.

The terrifying CCTV video, filmed in the city of Xi’an in Shaanxi Province on March 28, shows a motorist on fire running into a car repair store and then rolling on the floor. A worker at the store quickly extinguished the flames.

In another clip, a huge fire engulfed a minibus and two nearby cars. Workers from the car repair shop used water hoses to try to extinguish the fire.

The motorist was sent to hospital for treatment. He was hospitalised for burn treatment but he was not in life-threatening condition.

Five vehicles were damaged in the blaze.

The case is under investigation. The video was provided by local media with permission.

在西安北郊一辆面包车当街起火，紧急时刻，旁边一家修车店的员工们立即帮忙灭火。
3月28号下午四点左右，一名浑身着火的男子突然跑进了西安北郊秦川路这家修车店，店员张可可赶快用洗车的水枪往男子身上喷水灭火。
身上起火的男子随后去医院就医，目前正在住院进行烧伤治疗，所幸扑救及时没有生命危险。
通过店里的监控视频可以看到，当时修车店外一辆面包车跟前，一名男子突然很惊慌地跑到一边脱掉外套扔在地上，而另一名浑身已经起火的男子快速冲进了修车店，没多久面包车就冒起了明火。
修车店的员工说，当时面包车迅速起火之后，很快引燃了与面包车相邻的另外两辆私家车，这时，修车店的店长也从外边回来了，他也赶快组织员工使用消火栓里的水进行扑救。
最先起火的那辆面包车在过火后，自行滑到了马路中间，由于水带长度有限，只能对被引燃的两辆车进行扑救，随后消防人员赶来，将大火控制。据了解，现场共有五辆车受损，其中就有两辆车是修车店员工的车，在大火面前，修车店所有人第一时间想到的是先救人和其他人的车。
目前，车辆起火的原因还在调查当中。(视频由陕西台台提供）
