A British shorthair was caught playing the piano at night in northern China.

The hilarious video, shot in the city of Hengshui in Hebei Province on April 11, shows a cat named Juan Juan standing on its two hind legs and using its two front legs to play an electric piano.

The cat's owner Ms Zhang was seen turning on the light and saying to the feline: "Juan Juan! Why are you playing the piano at night?"

According to reports, Zhang and her husband suddenly heard the sound of playing the piano and got scared. When she went to check, she found her cat Juan Juan was playing it.

Zhang said their cat stared at her when she was playing the piano in the morning and she forgot to turn off the power. So Juan Juan played the piano at night by itself.
