The authorities used Indian Air Force (IAF) planes to airlift oxygen tanks from southern India's Telangana on April 23 to address the shortage of oxygen supply in the region. The oxygen tanks were airlifted from Hyderabad.

Visuals feature several oxygen tanks lined up behind the cargo aircraft. The authorities enter the plane and inspect the surroundings, following which the tanks enter the flying machine one by one. Meanwhile, the officials remain stationed on-site to behold the experience.

The Telangana government, in association with the Indian Air Force, airlifted nine empty oxygen tanks to the Odisha plants to procure liquid oxygen for the state. Moreover, the tankers will return by road and are expected to bring 150 metric tonnes of liquid oxygen to the state by April 27.

Health Minister Eatala Rajender, along with the Chief Secretary, Somesh Kumar, oversaw the operation at the old airport located in Begumpet. Moreover, the Indian Air Force deployed two C17 aircraft for the purpose.
