Pursuit of Wrong Way DUI Driver Ends with Crash Into Light Pole
HEMET, CA - On 05/03/2021 just before midnight, Hemet Police Officers initiated a pursuit on a DUI driver that failed to yeild.
The suspect drove off at high speed going wrong way on city streets until crashing into a light pole in the 500 block of N Cawston Ave.
The driver and a female passenger sustained only minor injuries in the crash. They were transported to a local hospital for evaluation before being booked.
