A loyal pet dog jumped into the swimming pool to save her owner who pretended to be drowning.
The ten-year-old Jack Russel terrier named Tilly quickly swam to her owner in the deeper part of the pool of a resort in Laguna province, the Philippines on February 14.
Pet owner Raquel Ariate said the pooch started barking when one of her cousins splashed water while swimming so they realised his rescuing abilities.
She said: ‘She did not hesitate to help. We did not teach her how to do that and she only knew a few simple tricks.
‘We were amazed when we realised she had the talent to sense danger and help without asking to.’
