Seven people have been arrested after a stabbing during a brawl in Selfridges department store on Oxford Street in central London.

Police also closed the high-end store after the incident in which a man was seen with a knife and a mannequin was thrown to the floor as the brawl broke out

Video shows police in nearby Manchester Square holding the arm of a man in a blue top. Several police vehicles are on the scene. Further footage shows police cars on Oxford Street outside Selfridges and an ambulance on Duke Street.

An eyewitness says there was a fight between three men on the first floor of the department store at around 7:30pm.

"Then I went outside to Duke Street [near Manchester Square] to film the police who caught some of the suspects," said the eyewitness.

Forensics are at the scene of the stabbing in the store, the eyewitness added.

The male who was stabbed is one of the people arrested, police said. He was taken to hospital where his condition is not thought to be serious.

A fight between two men in a Selfridges last year resulted in a CS-like gas being released and a number of people being treated for its effects.
