The authorities cremated five COVID-19 patients in a single day in central India's Madhya Pradesh on May 7. The incident took place in Bina.

Visuals feature the authorities conducting the last rites of the deceased. Dressed in personal protective equipment (PPE) kits, the officials carry out the rituals. The cremation ground gets packed with the burning pyres as the death toll in the region rises.

At least five COVID-19 patients, including a 35-year-old pregnant woman and a 15-year-old girl, were cremated while adhering to the COVID-19 protocols. Some of the deceased died during seeking treatment, while the others were brought dead to the hospital.
