Protests took place across Brazil on Saturday over the management of the Covid-19 crisis by the government of President Jair Bolsonaro.

Video shows opposition government protesters going to Avenida Paulista, in São Paulo to speak out against President Jair Bolsonaro and in favor of accelerating the pace of vaccination in the country. With banners, posters and music, they called for Bolsonaro's departure and also defended emergency aid and the enhancement of education and health in the country.

Brazil has recorded more than 460,000 deaths from Covid-19 and 16 million infections, according to reports.

A group that was in the protest even burned a rag doll, threw it into the flames and sighed to President Jair Bolsonaro.
