A fisherman in Hue, Vietnam, was left confused as he caught a bizarre purple crab.

Footage from May 7 shows the fisherman lift the crab out of the water, revealing its vibrant purple coloured shell.

According to the filmer, scientists said the crab has a rare colour mutation.
