This is the moment a cheeky seal hitched a ride with a paddleboarder - to sunbathe.

The seal swam up to Cenk Albayrak-Touye while he was out on the water and climbed onboard.

Footage shows the curious animal sticking his head out of the water in Poole Harbour in Dorset before hoisting himself up onto Cenk’s board.

Cenk, 25, said: “I’m so lucky to get it.

“There’s loads of seals in Poole harbour and the Dorset coast - but I’ve never seen something like that.

“I was paddle boarding around the harbour with my dad – but my legs got tired, so I decided to have a sit down and enjoy the sun.

“In the distance I saw a head bobbing up and down but then it was gone, and the next thing I know he’s climbing aboard and sunbathing.

“He stayed for several minutes – that was the only footage I got on my phone, but he had a few goes.”
