A cool video has emerged from Japan of a talented 11-year-old skateboarder performing an impressive freestyle routine.

In the footage, captured at his local skate park earlier this month, Isamu Yamamoto skilfully manoeuvres the board while practicing a routine for an upcoming freestyle competition.

According to his parents, Isamu took part in the World Freestyle Round-Up for the first time last year and won first place in the amateur category. He also became amateur champion in the All Japan Freestyle Skateboarding Championships.
