A clever wild monkey leaped onto a passing car to ask for food in Udon Thani, central Thailand on June 5.

Driver Pongsagorn Saenpakdee gave the monkey an opened bag of crisps, but the clumsy animal poured all of it on the ground.

Pongsagorn said: "The monkey was cute and smart. It knew that I would give it some food so it did not leave the car. The crisps were all over the car floor and some were on the ground. The monkey picked up some of them and ate them."

The hungry young primate jumped onto the vehicle and peered through the window when it stopped in Udon Thani, central Thailand.
