Star Wars Andor series created by Tony Gilroy a prequel to Rogue One film set being created at Tarmac's Middle Peak Quarry Wirksworth Derbyshire for Hollywood production E&E, Disney+ Lucas Films. The film production company is E&E INDUSTRIES (UK) LIMITED, are part of Disney+ & Lucas Films. They have permission from Derbyshire Dales District Council (DDDC) to close footpaths, the StarDisk at Stony Wood & some roads around the filming location or 3 days between Tuesday 22nd to Thursday 24th June 2021. It has been reported that Ewan McGregor has resumed his role as Obi-Wan Kenobi & maybe visiting Wirksworth for the filming. https://disneyplusoriginals.disney.com/show/andor There are 3 major movie productions currently in the local area, Mission Impossible, Indiana Jones & Star Wars.
