Passersby rescued a mother and a son trapped in a car after a crash in southern China.

The video, filmed in the city of Putian in Fujian Province on June 19, shows a gold car flipping over onto its side after colliding with a white vehicle.

A group of nearby people gathered around the car and flipped the car back over to free the mother and son trapped inside.

According to reports, both of the two cars did not slow down when driving through the intersection and the white car did not let the gold car go first.

The white car driver took the primary responsibility for the incident and the gold car driver took the secondary responsibility.

近日，莆田市仙游县枫亭镇发生一起两车相撞事故，造成一车侧翻，母子两人被困。关键时刻，周边二十多位市民纷纷赶到，仅用时2分钟就将车内人员成功救出。
监控显示，6月19日下午，张某驾驶的小型普通客车与朱某驾驶的小型轿车发生碰撞，张某所在的车辆被撞翻，她和儿子被困车内。
6月23日，伤愈出院的当事人之一张丽，来到莆田枫亭交警中队了解情况。
张丽介绍了当时的情况：我想出去，但因为车是立在哪里的，我都出不去，后面是刚好后车厢玻璃碎了，有群众说从后面帮忙把小孩接出去，后来他们先把孩子接出去后，然后很多人在帮忙，叫我在位置上坐好，他们帮我把车扶正，然后再帮我从后备厢解救出去。十分感谢大家出手相救。

经初步调查，在这起交通事故中，当事双方在经过十字路口时都没有采取减速措施，且在通过无交通信号灯路口时，白色轿车未礼让右侧的金色小型普通客车。根据《道路交通安全法》相关规定，我们作出责任认定，驾驶白色轿车的朱某负事故的主要责任，驾驶金色小型普通客车的张某负事故的次要责任。在此我们警方提醒广大交通参与者，驾车外出时要遵守道路交通规定，遇到交通路口时要减速慢行。（视频由仙游台提供）
