At least 145 families have lost their homes in a blaze that engulfed a residential area in the city of Cainta on June 29.

Officials said that 75 houses were lost in the fire.

At least 145 families lost their homes when a fire hit a residential area in Cainta, Rizal on Tuesday afternoon. The municipal social welfare and development office said 75 houses along East Bank Road Floodway in Barangay San Andres were destroyed. The fire, which broke out at around 4:38 p.m., was declared out at around 6:47 p.m., according to Fire Officer 1 Rheumfaith Saluib of the Cainta fire station.

The video shows fire spreading through 130 families from Lakas Tao Cainta, Rizal.
