Holographic march in Madrid over protest laws

An unusual video has emerged of a holographic protest against new laws preventing demonstrations in Madrid, Spain on Friday night.

The footage shows a hologram of protesters on the Paseo de la Castellana avenue in the Spanish capital.

The stunt was organised to protest against a new Citizen Safety Law, also called the 'gag law', that stops protesters from marching in front of parliamentary buildings. Those who break it would be liable for high fines.

"If we can't protest as free citizens, we protest as free holograms", the filmer later wrote online.
