A woman in Arizona returned home to surprise her younger siblings ahead of their graduation ceremonies.

Sierra Middlebrooks returned home to Flagstaff on April 29 to surprise her sister Sydney and brother Spencer.

Sierra said: "My little brother and sister graduated from high school and college this year."

"I hadn't seen them or anyone in my family for two years due to the pandemic, we'd been apart for a few months before the pandemic started. I'm also immunocompromised, which made everything even more difficult. It was a very long and hard two years for all of us.

"Luckily, about a month and a half before my sister's graduation, I was able to get vaccinated. I decided to keep it a secret so I could surprise both my brother and sister. The rest of my family was also able to get vaccinated in time so it would be safe for me to be there with all of them.

"My parents knew it was happening, but my brother and sister had no idea we were coming. It was the first time I had seen anyone in my family in two years, and the emotions were overwhelming. My parents helped coordinate the surprise - my brother and sister thought they were making a video to say hi to me."
