Miscreants rob jewellery worth $4,018 from store in western India

The thriving business of burglary seems to have no end amid the coronavirus outbreak in western India's Gujarat on July 6. The incident took place in Kadodara in Surat city.

CCTV footage features the miscreants barging into the local jewellery store with the intention of robbing it whole. They further hold the storekeeper captive and ransack the entire place while stuffing all the precious items inside their bag. After a while, the officials reach the spot to investigate the matter while the goons abscond the scene.

Around six to seven miscreants entered the S.G Jewellers during the daytime near Kadodara and robbed the store after holding the worker captive. There further fled the scene after stealing gold and silver ornaments worth Rs. 3 lakh (USD 4.018) while the cops reached the spot to ascertain the situation. Furthermore, they took stock of the situation while an investigation into the matter is underway.
