'This is the heartwarming moment a single mom filmed her kids reuniting with their biological dad after 5 years.

The filmer, Maria Aolele shared: "Long story short, my ex-husband, Ao Junior Aolele, and I broke up 5 years ago and we decided to go our own ways. As broken as I was, I took my kids and moved to Samoa, not knowing what my plans were and, at the same time, was not in a headspace to make any valid choices for the children and myself."

She added: "Shortly after, I decided to leave my children in Samoa with my parents and flew back to New Zealand to secure a job and a house, before flying my children back to NZ. It was one of the most difficult times of my life as I had never let my kids out of my sight for this long."

The boys' emotional reactions to seeing their dad clearly indicate how much they missed him.
