A mother bear and her three cubs were spotted at the beach in California recently apparently cooling off during the recent heatwave.

Frightened beachgoers stood by and watched as an adult black bear and three cubs splashed in the South Lake Tahoe waters on June 27.

"They gave us a great show," said Watkins.

It's not only humans who are rushing to beach side to get relief from hot summers , a Bear family also decided a day out and went to a beach side to enjoy the sea water to beat the heat .

Beachgoers at pope beach in South Lake Tahoe in California were surprised and amazed to see when a family of bears joined them in waters .

Jen Watkins who was there at beach at that time captured the moment into her mobile camera .Watkins tells it was such a prettty moment , people including me enjoying the moment , she further adds that these beach loving bear had a great time and was like a family swim . They gave us a great show
