'Magnificent footage showing the lava lake from an active mountain Fagradalsfjall in all its glory.

This "fiery" video was filmed by landscape and wildlife photographer, Jeroen Van Nieuwenhove, who described the lava stream as a "boiling lava soup."

The filmer shared: "I live in Iceland, close to the ongoing eruption of Fagradalsfjall. I filmed this top-down close-up of a lava lake that formed inside the active crater of the eruption. The magma reaches the surface at the top of the frame and flows outwards towards the bottom."

This stunning view was caught on camera on June 10, 2021.

Name: Jeroen Van Nieuwenhove
Location: Fagradalsfjall, Iceland'
