Footage shows a bizarre giant head hot air balloon that was seen floating over homes in Tokyo, Japan on Friday (July 16).

The giant inflatable shaped like a giant head of a random person slowly rose into the sky from Yoyogi Park at around 8am local time.

It was a one-day surreal art installation called ‘Masayume’ meaning ‘dream come true’ by the artist Japanese collective Mé.

It drifted over the capital city for the rest of the day as baffled locals watched.
