3rd Alarm with 1 rescued from Triple home fire Minersville, Pennsylvania

Schuylkill County Communications center dispatched a working fire in the 400 block of North Street, Minersville Borough. MPD Officer Tim Walsh confirmed a working fire with fire showing
Upon arrival of Tim Walsh Minersville Police Officer saw Frank Steckler hanging from a 2nd floor window and sprang into action prior to the fire departments arrive. Officer Walsh grabbed a ladder then rescued the resident as he escorted him down to safety.
Nine people have been displaced after a home caught fire in Minersville early Tuesday morning.
Steckler confirmed that three of his pets have perished in the fire. One pet survived.
The Red Cross is assisting 9 people displaced due to this fire.
PSP Fire Marshal will be investing the cause and remains undetermined at this time.
