The flight of Blue Impulse came ahead of the official Tokyo 2020 opening ceremony. It was set to start on July 23, 8 P.M. local time. The ceremony was scheduled to last for three to four hours, with more than 11,000 athletes from 205 countries ascending to the Olympic Stadium.

The video shows six planes from Japan’s aerobatics team "Blue Impulse" making a flypast ahead of the Tokyo 2020 Opening Ceremony.
