The Jabulani herd of elephants consists of orphaned and rescued elephants, most of whom have been hand-raised by humans. They came to Jabulani Safari South Africa when it was no longer safe for them to live in Zimbabwe and are now taken care of by experienced elephant carers while still going out into the wild as every elephant should. They spend every day foraging out in the wild and return to the stables in the evenings to ensure their safety at night.

This video shows Jabulani, the orphan who started it all, drinking from the dam. It was filmed at Jabulani Safari in South Africa from quite a unique angle.
