Protesters marched in London in support of Geronimo the alpaca, on Monday 9 August.

They marched from the offices of the Department for Environment, Food & Rural Affairs to Downing Street.

Geronimo has tested positive for bovine tuberculosis twice so Defra have ordered that he be put down, to prevent risk to cattle.

But his owner Helen Macdonald maintains the tests used on him are not accurate.

His supporters chanted "re-test Geronimo".

Geronimo was originally brought from New Zealand.
