Flood threat looms large over Patna as Ganga crosses danger-mark in Bihar

In Patna, the water level of the Ganges has increased significantly in the last four days, because of which several ghats along the river have been submerged under water.

Ganga was flowing 31 cm above the danger mark in Buxar, 41 cm above the danger mark at Digha in Patna. At Gandhi Ghat, the river was flowing 98 cm above the danger mark, while at Hathidah it was flowing 88 cm above the danger mark.

The construction work on Marine Drive has been disrupted due to the flooding on the road in this area.

According to the footages snake has floating bank side of Ganga river that's very dangerous for leaving & boatman people's.

All the ghats have been completely submerged. The road is flooded, those people are facing a lot of trouble.
