A group of playful pet lovebirds did everything in their power to distract their studying owner.

The filmer, who is attempting to watch an education video, records as the birds land on her desk and drop food everywhere.

"Today is my rest day from school and I decided to make it a productive one by watching an educational video about my course," the filmer told Newsflare.

"However, I made that decision at the wrong time since it’s also my birds’ playtime. This is their daily routine that I have to follow to keep their trust.

"I expected that they will not be as messy as the video shows, but I was wrong."

This video was filmed in Zambales, the Philippines, on August 13.
