This footage was filmed and produced 25 June 2021.
Although not originally built as an Indian Residential School, it did become the Assiniboia Indian Residential school in 1958 and operated as such until 1973. It was originally the Julia Clark School as part of the regular school system.

The location at 615 Academy Road in Winnipeg, Manitoba has served many purposes since 1973 including a Parks Canada Office, RCMP Lab and now is home to the Canadian Centre for Child protection and Child Find Manitoba.

The exterior of the school is here in addition to the many flowers and light post memorial banners tied around the posts along the main street in front of the property.
