This is the moment water from Tropical Storm Henri poured onto a subway train in New York on August 22.

Onlooker Leon Suseran recorded the A train of the New York City Subway getting drenched while it was parked at Ozone Park-Lefferts Boulevard station. A worker in personal protective gear can be seen cleaning the inside of the train car.

Henri made landfall in the town of Westerly in Rhode Island on Sunday, devastating much of Northeast U.S.

At least 74,000 residents, many of whom lived in coastal towns, were affected by power outages in Rhode Island. In Tennessee, the storm has killed no less than 22 people, including young children and elderly citizens, while dozens are still missing.

Struggling U.S. President Joe Biden said emergency declarations have been approved for Rhode Island, Connecticut, and New York.

He said: ‘I’m committed to do everything we can to support their communities through the storm and afterwards.’
