This clip shows two Alaskan Malamutes wagging their tails, growling, and kissing their owner as she wears a mask with the half-face of a dog printed on it.

The dogs look confused at first, but they then seem to appreciate the prank.

The owner said: "My clever Alaskan Malamutes Sojou and Fish couldn't believe their eyes when they saw me wearing my new face covering. Their reaction is priceless as they seem to recognise me not only as their owner but as another dog. They were excited to greet me and welcome me into their pack".

The video was filmed on August 25 in Canada.
