UK police removed Extinction Rebellion protesters from an open-top bus they used to block a major junction in London on Wednesday 1 September.

The eco-protesters had blocked the junction on the south side of London Bridge -- a major route into and out of central London, alongside the large commuter hub of London Bridge station.

It is the ninth day of the so-called Impossible Rebellion -- two weeks of protests and direct actions demanding greater action on climate change.

One protester dressed in a bridal outfit superglued her hand to the window in a door on the bus. Another is seen standing on top on a platform.

Once police seize control of the vehicle and remove the protesters, a police officer drives the bus away.
