A mountainside collapsed sending smoke into the air due to continuous rainfall in northern China.

The dramatic video was captured in the city of Hanzhong in Shaanxi Province on September 18.

The National Highway 210 and a river were blocked by the fallen debris. One person suffered fractures to his leg and ribs and another was trapped.

The injured person was sent to hospital for treatment, while the trapped person was rescued successfully and his vital signs are stable.

受7月以来4轮强降雨影响，2021年9月9日18时30分许，陕西汉中镇巴县盐场镇与渔渡镇交界的大河口处发生一处山体滑坡，致使210国道中断，渔水河河水受阻，1名群众受伤，1名群众被困。受伤群众当即送往医院救治，经诊断为腿部、肋骨骨折，病情平稳、情绪稳定；被困群众于9月10日上午7时许被成功营救，目前生命体征正常。
险情发生后，市县党委、政府高度重视，应急、公安、交通、水利、卫健、自然资源、消防救援等部门赶赴现场救援，成立应急救援抢险指挥部，下设综合协调、现场救援、医疗救治、交通管制、人员疏散等七个工作组，紧急开展救援处置工作。
目前，210国道已实施交通分流管控，正对山体滑坡周边村组开展人员摸排，已全面迅速转移上下游风险区人员，救援物资、救援设备等调运储备工作均已到位，救援抢险工作正有序进行。同时，全县举一反三对地质隐患点进行全面排查和风险评估，及时消除各类安全隐患，确保人民群众生命财产安全。（视频由陕西台提供）
