A man was rescued by locals in Lebak, Indonesia, after almost falling off a bridge into a river below.

Footage from September 15 shows the man clinging onto the edge of the wooden bridge.

A group of residents managed to pull the dangling man up onto the bridge before he could fall.

A man carrying a motorcycle almost fell into a fast river on an already fragile and slippery bridge in Lebak Gedong, Lebak district, Banten Indonesia.

The bridge, which was damaged two years ago due to natural disasters, is still being used as a pedestrian bridge by residents on a daily basis.

With this incident, residents around the bridge tried to help the man to climb onto the bridge again.
