Jaws-dropping: Poop cloud by great white shark off coast of Mexico is considered 'scientific goldmine'

This is the sign of aggression and act of personal business from a great white shark as it does its business off the coast of Isla Guadalupe, Mexico on an expedition from August 2 to 7.

According to EarthNews, underwater faecal tornadoes are something unique, and the spasm from such a massive shark is considered a scientific gold mine, as it holds chemical clues about what the animal has been eating, its stress levels and even where it hails from. Because great white sharks are highly migratory, this information is invaluable, and tough to obtain.

Rebecca Byrd and Horizon Charters, who provided the footage, told Newsflare, "While we have seen sharks drop, this one was as aggressive as we have seen placing scent over the widest area possible with aggressive fins down near other male sharks (over 5) at our cages. Wow!
