A scenic spot in central China used over 50,000 pieces of corn to form a giant golden dragon statue.

Video shot in the city of Xinxiang in Henan Province on September 20 shows a 69-metre-long and 5.5-metre-long golden dragon made from around 57,000 pieces of corn.

It took half a month for the over 20 workers to finish the dragon.

The local has a traditional custom called "Shai Qiu" which means drying the crops.

The golden dragon shows a special way of "Shai Qiu" and means good weather and harvest.

The video was provided by local media with permission.
